Aaron Paul talks return for Breaking Bad spinoff

Aaron Paul who is known for his icon roles as meth manufacturer Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad, has stated that he is in progress of having "serious talks" with the Breaking Bad show creator Vince Gilligan to make an appearance in the upcoming Breaking Bad spinoff known as Better Call Saul.

Aaron Paul was promoting his new action movie Need for Speed, when in an interview Jesse Pinkman came up.

Paul stated "anything Vince is involved with, I'm there," he then goes on to say that "I owe him my entire career and the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days would be fun."

However one actor who won't be making a return is current Under the Dome actor Dean Norris, who in Breaking Bad played DEA Agent and the brother in law to Walter White, Hank Schrader. He stated that " I, don't think they'll let me do a little cable show." He then goes on to say that " I'm not a big fan of kind of revisiting something that has already been done, but I think it's going to be awesome. So I can't wait to see it." 

So the prequel has both Aaron Paul and Dean Norris excited, now all we have to do is wait for it to hit our screens in November.

Slow WI-FI

This is one of my personal pet hate's, it is when people complain about FREE wi-fi being slow. You know, the type of people who sit in Starbucks and moan because their YouTube video is going slightly a bit slow. Its a coffee shop not the Pentagon, nobody cares that the wi-fi is going slow, the reason being is that it's FREE. So stop criticizing free wi-fi before the place where you sit and have your cappuccino starts charging you for that faster internet.

Currently Marc Webb isn't out looking for work, considering the fact that he is set to complete his hat trick as director for The Amazing Spider Man 3. But recently it has been confirmed that Marc Webb will be looking away from directing superhero films and taking up the role as director for a Soviet Spy film. 

A report from Deadline states that Marc Webb will take up the role as director for the upcoming adaptation of the non fiction novel Cold Comfort, also known as 'how to catch a Russian Spy'. The book was co-written by Ellis Henican and the subject of the book is currently remaining a secret. It is proposed that Fox will be producing the movie adaptation of Cold Comfort.

We currently know from descriptions available that the film is the true account of an American civilian who becomes a self taught spy and by working with the FBI he aims to bring down a Russian intelligence agent who is living/active in America.

There is currently no release date yet for Cold Comfort but Marc Webb's current master piece The Amazing Spider Man 2 will be shown in cinemas from the 18th of April.

Bond 24, Filming to start this October

BOND 24, to start filming this October

Latest addition to the Bond family, actor Ralph Fiennes from Skyfall has recently revealed in an interview that the new Bond film currently knows as 24 will begin filming in October.

Fiennes told MTV that filming for the new film is "meant to start shooting in October." However he adds that "I haven't read a script yet, so I can't tell you much, they'd probably swear me to secrecy anyway." I guess we will just have to patiently wait for more information.

In case you are not aware of which actor Ralph Fiennes played in Skyfall, he was introduced as the new "M". His character is Gareth Mallory, a ex military vet, now chairman of intelligence and the Security Committee.  Ralph Fiennes takes up the role as "M", after the death of his predecessor. - Judi Dench

Director Sam Mendes and screenwriter John Logan will once again continue to take up their roles for the new movie and also Daniel Craig will once again play as agent 007.

The internet at the moment is filled with random Jean Claude Van Damme epic split parodies. But this one may be the best yet.

I hope that one day Van Damme will venture into space and make this a reality. I can picture it now Van Damme calmly standing with his feet on two different satellites, hundreds of miles above the Earth. Unlike Sandra Bullock in Gravity, Jean just calmly stands there and lets his feet slowly drift apart until he is actually performing a split in space. There is the possibility he would get hit by a piece of debris, but he would roundhouse that piece into oblivion.

Minecraft coming to the big screen

After the outstanding success of the Lego Movie it now appears that our little block friend may now be hitting the big screen as well. 

It has recently been revealed that Warner Bros are developing a film version of Minecraft. 

Warner Bros have recently acquired the rights for Minecraft to be shown on the big screen and are currently designing a live action movie. It has been noted that Lego Movie producer, Roy Lee will help develop the Minecraft movie project.

Currently no release date or spoilers about the Minecraft movie have been announced but the creator of Minecraft, Markus Persson has spoken about the project on twitter.

Markus wrote, "someone is trying to leak the fact that we're working with Warner Brothers on a potential Minecraft move," Markus then goes on to state that he "wanted to be the leak!"

Since the release of the Lego movie it has earned more than £167 million in only three weeks, and due to this success a sequel is already looking promising.

However film adaptations of best selling games have always had a some what rocky past in Hollywood and many of the projects in mention have never gone beyond discussions such as Halo, Gears of War, Metal Gear Solid and Bioshock. But hopefully Minecraft will take after it's yellow cousin and make it to the big screen.

Goodbye Nintendo Wifi

Nintendo have announced the end of online servers for Wii and DS

Nintendo have recently announced that it will be shutting down its Wii and DS online servers. The service known by hardcore Nintendo fans as Nintendo Wi-fi connection , will be getting shut down on the 20th of May.

Many of the games available for the DS and the Wii rely upon these servers for their multilayer gaming, which after the 20th of May will not be possible. It is estimated that over 60 games worldwide will be affected.

Iconic Wii games such as Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Kart will lose multiplayer, matchmaking and leaderboard support as when they go offline permanently. As for DS games, Metroid Prime Hunters, Mario Kart and a large majority of Pokemon games will also be affected.

At the moment the UK has not been added to the list of countries affected, however it is looking like a worldwide shutdown of Nintendo's wifi service will happen.

As well as shutting down their wifi service, Nintendo has announced that they will be shutting down the video services for the 3DS on the 31st March. However they have confirmed that the Wii shop channel and the DSi shop will continue to function along side the Wii's internet channel and YouTube app.

Nintendo have announced that the Wii U Tvii feature will be coming to Europe soon.

Barack Obama as Iron Man ?

Proving that the growing Marvel franchise is slowly and steadily taking over the world , President Obama has now confirmed that America are building an Iron Man. Yes America's president may soon become IronMan.

In a interview Barack Obama told the world that "today I am joined by researchers who invent some of the most advanced metals on the planet." Obama then goes onto to state during a White House manufacturing innovation event, "designers who are modelling prototypes in the digital cloud, folks from the pentagon who help to support their work."

Barack Obama : "Basically I'm here to announce that we're building Iron Man."

Obviously the president is joking, however he did let slip that the American government are developing their very own super powered armoured suits, but that information is most likely top secret.

Check out these stunning photos of the active volcanic complex in Tolbachik. The Tolbachik complex is one of many active volcanoes in the Kamchatka area of eastern Russia. These pictures remind me of Mount Doom from Lord of the Rings. A year ago the Tolbachik was covered in lava fountains and rivers of fire decorated the landscape, however now the Tolbachik has calmed down. These breath taking photos come from none other than photographers Luda and Andrey, who risked their own lives to bring the world these stunning images of the so called 'Hell valley on Earth'.

The Volcano erupted back in 2012, but it had previously been dormant for 36 years.

In this photo the lava flows from the Tolbachik and spreads through the surrounding areas in east Russia.

This photo shows a crack, shows the image of looking into hell or at least a extremely hot bath.

Underneath a bright full moan, the lava from the spewing volcano spills into a river of molten rock below creating this spectacular photograph.

Tolbachik has been an active volcano for thousands of years, but the most remarkable eruption was the Great Tolbachik Fissure Eruption of 1975. The Great  Tolbachik eruption of 1975 was the biggest outpouring of volcanic rock the world had ever seen since the Laki eruption in 1783.

Having a ring secretly slipped into your beloveds champagne glass just isn't going to cut it any more.

Victor Delgado decided that the traditional "less is more" was not going to cut it. So Victor teamed up with JHM Productions and set out to create possibly the geekiest yet greatest proposal of all time. The proposal in question is only two and half minutes long but it incorporates the traditional cosplay groups you would find in a convention. Some of the characters in question are, Stormtroopers, Ghostbusters, Predators, Zombies and I think I spotted the Men in Black making an appearance.

It is not clear on how the proposal trailer was delivered to his love, but judging on how the video came to an end I would presume that Victor Delgado paid for his trailer to be shown to his unsuspecting soon to be fiance ( It was confirmed, she said yes). After all if you all ready have the characters and the stage you may as well go big, instead of wasting it on a tv advertisement whilst you sit at home.

I just wonder how the wedding is going to beat the proposal.

We should all be allowed one chance to complain about hangovers, I mean the first time ever you get a hangover you are new to the experience and don't know the pain you have got yourself into. But after that, you should know exactly what you are doing so there is no need to be shocked the next morning when you feel like the Grim Reaper is beating you over the head with last night's jagermeister bottle. I don't want hear "Ahh, I poisoned myself, now everybody hear my complaints and pay me in attention or sympathy." I mean if you know your going to get a hangover, then don't drink till the fun has vanished and your left with a soulless body staggering across the dance floor.

California couple find £6m in buried treasure.

A couple in California stumbled upon a stash of gold coins buried on their own property last year, the coins were valued at as much as £6m ($10m) and is seen to be the largest haul of buried treasure in US History.

Rare coin dealers have told the couple that the 1,427 coins, dated from 1847 up to 1894, were in mint condition and are believed to have never been circulated. 

The California couple who have yet to be named, say they found them buried in rusting metal cans under a tree while they were on a walk last April.

David McCarthy from the currency firm Kagin's stated "We've seen shipwrecks in the past where thousands of gold coins were found in very high grade, but a buried treasure of this sort is unheard of." David then tells Reuters news agency that "I've never seen this face value in North America and you never see coins in the condition we have here."

The California couple live in a rural area known as the Gold Country due to the amount of prospectors who fled to the region during the 19th century gold rush.

It is still a mystery as to who buried the coins, but also as to why they buried them.

Getting up in the Morning

It can be a grueling process, but would rather not be woken up ? Considering all the problems that could possible go wrong in every passing second, we should probably begin each day jumping for joy that everything we know is still intact. Since that will never happen we can at least be happy with another day of existence.

For some reason, three goats trying to stay on a piece of bendy metal make's me smile. Unless you have  a fear of goats and sheets of flexible metal then I suggest you watch these future circus stars.

Peter Capaldi, a one season doctor ?

Crazy Doctor Who rumour, Peter Capaldi a one season doctor ?

With the introduction of a new actor filling the shoes of the Doctor always get's Whofans excited, introducing their own take on the centuries-old man from Gallifrey. After the previous actors Matt Smith and David Tennant. The new Doctor who is said to have a darker take on the character and is the perfect role for Peter Capaldi. But could his time as the Doctor be shorter than anyone was led to believe.

This crazy who rumour was reported by The Mirror, so the fact that it is coming from the Mirror does suggest that we should take it with a Gallifrey sized grain of salt. The Mirror's Richard Beech states that he has heard that Capaldi's role was specifically intended as a transitional Doctor "in order to steer the show in a new direction and pave the way for an even more radical choice for the role."

Linking back to everyone discussion had about the turn of a new Doctor, this steer in a new direction could pave the way for a time lord regenerating as a woman or a non-white fellow. So perhaps this is what Steven Moffat intends to do with the show, but no matter the choice he makes, it will nevertheless stir up plenty of controversy and debates between Whofans.

However this could just be Moffat wrapping up his stewardship of the series and handing the reins over to whomever becomes his successor. But this all could just be white lies, I mean it would be a disappointment if we only get one season of Peter Capaldi as the the Doctor.

Soviet monument gets a Ukraine twist

Sofia monument hit again, this time Ukraine twist.

The Soviet monument in Sofia which has been painted all ready numerous times previously, has this time been painted in the colours of the Ukrainian flag.

The artist is currently unknown and has reportedly painted the monument on Saturday night, sparking protest from Russia.

Since the monument was painted, Russia has demanded an explanation of the "vandal incident."

This is the current painting in the modifications that have previously been added to the monument in Sofia.

This was painted back in August 2013 and is a reference to the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968. The writing says "Bulgaria apologises."

Last year in August, the figures on the monument received a Pussy-Riot style makeover in honour of the anti-Putin band.

However back in 2011 the monument got, well a more action hero vibe. It included comic book characters such as superman, captain America and the Joker but also the addition of two not so action characters. Ronald McDonad and Santa Clause.

Godzilla's Latest Trailer wreaks havoc

"You have no idea what's coming." Bryan Cranston lays out the most striking line in the latest Godzilla trailer, which has recently just hit the web. With every bit of new footage released, it is clear to see that we are becoming more and more convinced that, whatever is coming it's going to be awesome.

The legendary director Gareth Edwards has been very secretive in how much in how much they are willing to reveal with each new trailer of the big guy's return to the big screen. From the trailers that have been released, we have seen widespread destruction, but now we finally got our first good look at the gigantic monster in the previous trailer released back in late 2013, and this latest trailer confirms a number of rumour's, as well as providing some hints to the backstory leading up to the release.

While we may not get a clear look at them, we definitely get the image that there will feature more than one giant monster. At around the 1:28 mark, we get a glimpse of what appears to be a tail, however with a closer inspection it seems that it may be some sort of biological outgrowth that is wrapped around a missile at the bottom. It is difficult to figure out what exactly what we are looking at without solid evidence. However this mystery creature does  not seem to be a match for Godzilla in it's design or it's size. In the scene just after we get a short glimpse of something big which appears to be diving into the ocean. Again it does not look like Godzilla as it appears to resemble some sort of winged monster, it could possibly be the new version of Monthra.

The new trailer also provides a bit of a backstory. We find out from Ken Watanabe's character that the Japanese had "awakened something " back in 1954, most likely Godzilla. He then goes onto say that the "nuclear tests" in the pacific were not actually tests, instead they were Japan's attempt to kill Godzilla. It is not clear if those nuclear attacks had any effect on Godzilla, so maybe we can assume that the nuclear attacks somehow managed to send him into hiding ? But obviously something has woken him back up from his slumber or has irritated him enough to rise. But we will just have to wait and see.

I have been feeling that I am bit old to be doing some of the activities I still try to do. Maybe it is just the aftermath of the Christmas blues, but I have been looking forward to getting home from university and just going to sleep. However there is nothing like the discovery of a 4.375 billion year old fragment of the Earth to make you still feel young.

Like so many of the fossils and old life forms found today, this chunk of zircon was found in Western Australia. When they stumbled upon this piece of zircon, scientists knew it was old but the methods they normally use to measure how old were inadequate. They normally count the isotopes but that process does not work on zircons because the lead inside is moved around by the radioactive uranium inside. To get across this hurdle, scientists used a new method called atom-probe tomography, which basically allows them to count each lead atom. This new method allowed the scientists to determine that the piece of zircon was 4.375 billion years old.

Zircon had formed about 100 million years after the moon did. Because zircon crystals are made from water rich materials, Earth may have had water on its surface back then, or at least was able to cool down fast enough after the collision that lead to the formation of the moon. We are led to believe that the Earth was uninhabitable or a not so welcoming place to go on holiday, but this new founding now suggests that may not be entirely accurate. Still, there was no wifi back then so it is not like Earth was the most hospitable place either.

Waiting in drive throughs

If you're going to sit in the car with your music deafening everyone else waiting for their meal, then a hand is going to pop out of a window with your hot food, then allowing you to be on your way. How is this not considered some kind of royal treatment ? I mean if the employee is rude, that's a different matter, but if they get your order wrong that's only being human ( or KFC ), and we gain in "fast food" we sometimes have to sacrifice in accuracy. I mean if your that picky about your meal, go home and make it yourself.

The Guardians of the Galaxy

When Guardians of the Galaxy was first announced by Marvel the die-hard comic fans out there went wild, the rest of the world however went, "who?" It is difficult to believe, that after a few short months Guardians of the Galaxy has become one of the most- anticipated movies of the summer. Now the full trailer has premiered on Jimmy Kimmel Live, it is now confirmed that this is the movie that everyone is most excited about this summer. Do I think it'll be the best? No clue. Do  I think it'll be a hit to live up to Marvel's impressive track record? Who knows? But do I expect to have a better time in a theatre during the the summer months, if not the entire year? No way. 

Guardians of the Galaxy stars characters that, unless you're a hardcore comic book fan, you've almost certainly never heard of. As far as we know, it doesn't have any of the more recognizable Marvel characters along to help ease the audience to these new guys. Also two of the main characters are a genetically engineered tree who only says " I AM GROOT" and a raccoon with a slight gun fetish. I mean, if people though Ant-Man was a long shit, he's got nothing on the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The trailer is not just about humor although there is a lot. There is also plenty of action packed in there, including Rocket unloading an automatic weapon while astride Groot. This is a sight that would send any fanboys heart into palpitations, this just shows that writer/director James Gunn has a created a crazy, unique-looking universe which has got everyone excited.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a story of  Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord. He is a half-human, half-alien who was taken away from Earth when he was still young and grows up fooling around in the galaxy as a self claimed "legendary outlaw." After coming into possession of a mysterious artifact, Star-Lord winds up joining forces with the rest of the self claimed Guardians of the Galaxy to save the galaxy from some not so friendly people, such as Ronan the Accuser.

It is released in theatres on Friday 1st of August 2014.

A community centre in Staffordshire has been raided by thieves who stole from the cafe while a jazz band was entertaining the public in the main area.

The thieves stole carrot cake, fruitcake, cheese scones, Victoria sponge and flapjacks from the kitchen area while the band was playing.

The Manager of the community centre said: "The chef will have to work like a demon to replace the cakes before opening tomorrow."

Another member of the public stated "I've only been here for 15 weeks, it really takes the biscuit - literally."

Finally my personal interest is to offer a review on current manga chapters, anime episodes and to hopefully provide a service which will encourage people to discuss this interest and maybe give them the chance to watch or read something they previously have not.
