Terminator: Genesis plot indicates the return of more original characters

Terminator Plot indicates the return of more original characters

No franchise appears to be completely dead now a days, such as the return of the Terminator, with the new film Terminator: Genesis. The new movies is due out in 2015 and we already know that we are going to see some familiar faces, at least some returning characters. Sarah Connor, John Connor and kyle Reese will all be making a return, although they will be played by different actors of course. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger's iconic T-800 will be making a return to the big screen. But a recent report has said that we may see even more original characters making a possible return, as well as revealing some possible plot details.

Genesis will be directed by Thor: The Dark World's Alan Taylor and will take place in at least three different time periods, so it appears that time travel will be playing a huge role in the new release. The story is believed to start of in 1984, the year of James Cameron's original Terminator then progress to 1995, when Judgment Day was released, as well as some unspecified time in the future. You can be sure though that it's after the machines have taken over and made us all their slaves, but the periods are said to be important and influential time periods in the life of the Connor family.

Game of Thrones star Emilia Clark is set play Sarah Connor, Jason Clark who shares no relation is set play her son John Connor and Jai Courtney will play Reese. As well as these characters it is noted that some of the smaller characters from the franchise are making a return, such as. Ginger who is played by Bess Motta, Detective Hal Vukovick played by Lance Henriksen and Lieutenant Ed Traxler who was played by Paul Winfield back in 1984. There is even rumours that Pugsley the iguana is set to make a return to the big screen. However I think we should hope that this film turns out a bit better for them all this time around.

Terminator: Genesis is supposed to start filming later this summer and should hopefully arrive in cinemas around the 1st July, 2015
