Trippy New Mad Men Poster
Hot on the heels of releasing a first-look trailer for the
final season of "Mad Men," AMC now hits us with the official Season 7
poster — and it's groovy, baby. (Austin Powers would approve.)
The poster takes the falling Don Draper from the "Mad
Men" opening credits and puts him in front of a swirling psychedelic
landscape of hippie ingĂ©nues, blooming flowers, and free-flowing booze — a
perfect fit for the late-'60s era that Don and company now find themselves in.
(Last season left off in the fall of 1968.)
And like Season 6's enigmatic poster, this one was designed
by a titan of the "Mad Men" era: Milton Glaser, whose colorfully
trippy ad designs defined the late 1960s. (Glaser's most famous works include
the iconic "I Heart NY" logo; he also co-founded New York magazine in
1968.)
